I want to express my gratitude and thank everyone for over-whelming support of this blog! I've received many messages and it means the world to me. I was very nervous about doing this. I'm not anymore. Thank you!
My quick-study web-mastering shows me that my posts have seen more than 500 hits each and we've just begun!
I thought I'd share some site mapping with you to encourage you to stick with me on this journey. I do see a long range with your help.
The plan is to weave through the history of what lead me to a complete breakdown on January 23, 2010. By breakdown I mean that I checked into the hospital and took nearly a year off of work.
During my leave I explored many different types of healing – some were conventional and others were holistic, naturopathic and spiritual. I'd like to revisit some of those experiences and venture into some new ones to share with you.
Depression is a continuing journey and I'll also be sharing some of the “tune up leave” I've been on since mid November 2014. Today (February 4, 2015) is going to be my first day back to work and I'm really looking forward to it!
I've found that clean eating and eating for health is very important to me as well as exercise. And while I'm very good at the food part (planning an organic garden including building a greenhouse this spring), exercise and I have a love/hate relationship. Maybe you can help me with the exercise part.
I'm also a do-it-yourselfer who bought an older house I hope to renovate when budgeting permits. Until then, I like to decorate and remodel furniture, so some of that may end up on this blog.
Finally, as duty might permit, I'd like to share some policing experiences both good and bad. I'll also be exploring how the mental health needs of police, fire and ambulance are being met.
Until we meet again, be well.
